Absolutely yes! Most students in Medellín start with no previous experience. Schools are designed for beginners and instructors are very patient. All professional dancers started exactly where you are now.
For absolute beginners we recommend Bachata or Merengue. They're slower, have simpler steps, and will give you confidence quickly. Once you master the basics, you can try Salsa which is more challenging but also very fun.

In Medellín, people of all ages dance. We have students from 8 years old to 80+. Many schools offer age-specific classes: children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. It's never too late to start!
Prices vary by neighborhood (El Poblado is more expensive), class type (private vs group), and instructor experience.
